zero followers. one dare.
12,000,000 views in about 2 months.

in 2025, a client challenged alex to prove the system worked on himself — starting from zero followers. making six figs is what he built in response: first million views’ in-house instagram channel, run as a comedic character built around one repeatable format. read the disclaimer below before you judge the content.

read this firstmaking six figs is a character, not alex’s real opinions. it runs an exaggerated, comedic persona built to study what makes short-form content spread — it is not a reflection of alex’s or first million views’ real values. alex does not believe in putting down people who are struggling financially, and that is not something this agency stands for. the account exists to prove a point about format and virality, not to make one about people.

the client who dared him

in 2025, alex was in atlanta meeting with a client — a senior media executive he was helping grow on social. at the time, alex had zero social following of his own. the client pushed back: “if you’re trying to help people go viral, why don’t you do it yourself?” alex didn’t have a good answer. so he built one: @making.six.figs, starting from zero.

a format built from scratch

making six figs runs on one structure alex built himself, not copied from an existing trend: pov, you make six figs while [someone] makes [something]. a one-line premise on screen, a character the audience loves to disagree with, and a setup built to get comments. no studio, no professional camera, no heavy editing — once the format worked once, it worked every time he ran it.

the results

12,000,000 views in about 2 months, starting from zero followers. the three pinned reels alone sit at 3,900,000, 3,100,000 and 1,300,000 views.

as of september 2026, the account has 8,635 followers across 187 posts.

what it actually proved

making six figs isn’t a brand alex is trying to put his name on — it’s a controlled experiment. it proved that virality is a mechanical skill, not a personality contest: master one repeatable format and you can run it over and over, build a character that has nothing to do with your real values, and still make it spread. that’s the same system first million views runs for clients — minus the character.

making six figs started at zero followers. a client dared alex to prove the system worked on himself, so he built a format from scratch and took it to 12,000,000 views in about 2 months. the content isn’t him — the mechanics are real.
